Vintage Birdcage

Morning - again! LOL
Eeeeeee I know it's been a long time since I had 2 posts in 1 day so don't pass out LOL

I am back again to share a card I made for the Die'sire Create a Card Cut in Die shows on Hochanda.
I was on holidays when the show was on so I am slowly sharing the cards I made now I'm back :)
I used the birdcage die for this card.  I die cut the birdcage and then covered it in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.  I die cut the birdcage again - twice and only cut the bird out and added onto the original bird.  On the top bird I covered it with teal glitter.I then die cut the solid birdcage and layered the gold one on top.  I used papers from Sara's English Country Garden collection along with Flower and leaves dies from the Floral Delight collection and a punched butterfly.  On the ends of the leaves and on the butterfly I added versamark ink and embossed them with gold embossing powder before finishing them with pearls.  I also did the same with the "With Love" which I die cut with a Die'sire only words die.

Not normally my style but I do love how this has turned out :)

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
The ABC Challenge - P is for Pearls

I have overdosed myself on the Walking Dead now - so I am off to watch some FAB crafty videos on Youtube, well after blasting Pitbull for a bit!! LOL

See you later (But tomorrow not today LOL) x x x x

Bingo!

Morning Peeps!
I hope all is well today.  I am on my 2nd day off today - only 1 more to go LOL! I hate how work drags so slowly but days off go so quick!! But still today and tomorrow to enjoy :)

I am here today to share my DT card for the new challenge at Creative Inspirations.

Our theme this week is BINGO
My line is white, distress and dots

We were sent sponsor images - just how cute are these little Penguins!!!
I printed the image onto Neenah white card and I colored with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I matted and layered blue snowflake paper which I printed from the Nordic Christmas CD ROM and onto red card.  I embossed some white card with a snowflake embossing folder and along the bottom I die cut a snowflake border from Sara's Signature collection.  I added this to the card on 3D foam tape, I then added the penguins on 3D foam tape too.  I added red ribbon along the bottom with a bow and stamped a sentiment - die cut it out and added under the bow.  Then to finish I added different size jewels.  Over the blue sky I have added my clear Spectrum Sparkle.

I decorated the inside to match.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenge:
Winter Wonderland - Use 2 die cuts and add sparkle.

I am off to watch some of The Walking Dead - everyone has told me about it so I thought I would catch up with it - OMG I can only watch in the daylight tho LOL

Have a great day!! x x x

I woke up to quite a grey and misty Newcastle but now its all sunny - so that's nice :)

I am here to share a card I have made with the Die'sire Floral Garden Create a Card Cut in die.
